We are a multifaceted metals and materials service business with a a close association and available vendor support from Central Steel & Wire, based in Chicago, Illinois.
Central is well recognized as being the best service center of their type in the industry with over 2 million square feet of space with a full line of materials in their Chicago plant and daily deliveries to the Ohio territory.

TandT Materials was founded by Jim Terhune in January, 2006 with the intent of offering metal and other material users, one source to connect with a full line of commodities from premium suppliers. Our products are Carbon and Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Titanium, and Nickel Alloys, in all forms.

Jim Terhune has 26 years experience in the metals field having worked for Carpenter Technology, Ryerson Steel, and owned Industrial Metals Inc., a distributor of rare and hard to find metals .
The General Manager of TandT Materials, is James Burlingame. Jim has 10 years experience in the metal field having worked for Industrial Metals back in the 90’s. and was instrumental in fine tuning the nationally recognized material management program that Industrial Metals ran inside Eastman Kodak’s Elmgrove facility.

The program coined JIT 3, saved Kodak millions and was written up in Metal Market Magazine, Modern Metals and others for its uniqueness and proactive approach.
Jim and his team would ensure all Kodak’s material (millions of pounds of numerous types and sizes) was on the floor at the work station on time every time and 100 % usable (no rejections for material non-conformance). This type of quality and on time delivery earned the company a Q6 rating-much coveted in the metals field.

Using our several decades worth of industrial material supply experience, we have established a broad and experienced network of secondary support suppliers across the country. TandT Materials is able to utilize our long established relationships with these suppliers in order to meet your most stringent time and materials specifications.
